I just completed my NYSC online registration recently and here’s what I used and how I avoided mistakes. Hope it helps someone:
I made sure I had my valid email address and phone number ready. NYSC sends updates to your email and SMS.
I used my Matriculation Number exactly as it appears on my school documents.
I uploaded a clear passport photo (white background, no heavy makeup or glasses).
I had my JAMB Registration Number for verification.
My school certificate or statement of result was scanned and uploaded.
For foreign-trained graduates like my cousin, they asked for original certificates, international passport, visa, transcript, etc.
I selected the correct date of birth and didn’t try to alter anything with the correction link unless I was 100% sure.
To avoid mistakes, I double-checked all info before submitting. I also asked a friend who had done it before to go through my form with me. It saved me from errors that could delay my call-up letter.
Just take your time and don’t rush the process. Everything worked fine for me that way.
