How do you stay motivated while working from home?

  1. Staying motivated while working from home is a struggle we all face! Here’s what keeps me going:

    - Dress like you’re going out – Sounds silly, but swapping pajamas for actual clothes tricks my brain into ‘work mode.’

    - Set micro-goals – Instead of ‘finish report,’ I do ‘write 3 paragraphs by 10am.’ Small wins keep momentum.

    - Time-blocking is king – 25 mins work, 5 mins break (Pomodoro style). My phone goes far away during focus periods.

    - Create a ‘work zone’ – Even if it’s just a corner table, having a dedicated spot helps separate work from chill time.

    - Social accountability – I tell a friend my daily target, and we check in. Fear of admitting I slacked off works wonders!

    - Reward yourself – Finished a task? 10 mins of TikTok or that chocolate stash. Pavlov knew what he was doing.

    - Embrace power naps – 20 mins when energy crashes > 3 hours of zombie scrolling.

Some days will flop—and that’s okay. Just restart fresh tomorrow. You’re not a robot! 💻✨
